The areas in and around the Nilgris district which we support are home to many poor workers and farmers. Their children find it virtually impossible to enroll in any mainstream technical or computer courses due to financial and travel constraints. To help such children, Smyrna has started a venture to provide training in many disciplines. We have also partnered with many institutions to provide such training.

We also have plans for programmes for differently-abled children, to motivate them and give them skills using their talents, hence boosting their self-confidence. Through these activities we have also been able to cultivate a confident and healthy community for the differently-abled children that we support.
